Signs of Spring, from the Silver Spring.

Our farm has a real spring - it bubbles up from the ground all rear 'round, creating a sort of micro-climate. The pussy willow that surround the spring pond have exploded into bloom, earlier than anywhere else I've seen in the county. I guess this perpetual source of fresh water was one of the reasons the Congletons chose to settle and build on this spot in 1730.
